About Us
From humble beginnings at Midland Military Markets and then our bustling small stall at Malaga, Uncle Frank’s Fine Foods is now poised to become one of the largest bulk food shops in Perth.
Hi, this is Emma, proprietor of Uncle Frank’s Fine Foods. With over 15 years experience in the bulk food industry wholesale purchasing and selling, I decided to take the opportunity to open my own retail bulk food shop… Here is a brief history of how Uncle Frank’s came to be:
Uncle Frank’s Fine Foods started out as St. Allard’s Traditional Wholefoods in an out of the way stall at Midland Military Markets. Open for only three short weeks before fire destroyed the markets in 2007, St. Allard’s had created a stir in the local community with many repeat customers and new customers as word spread about St. Allard’s being the place to visit.

In mid-2010, Uncle Frank’s opened its shop in Malaga. As many of you will know, Uncle Frank’s gained quite a large, loyal following at Malaga in a very short time. Uncle Frank’s was in need of a much larger premises with more space and larger range – this meant moving out of our small stall and begin the search to secure a large stand-alone building to realise this. At the end of July 2013, Uncle Frank’s left Malaga.

After a few months scoping out new premises, we are hoping to announce our new location soon but first we have to ensure the new premises will accommodate our needs well into the future and this involves a lot of planning and consideration.
